Gili Trawangan or Gili “T” as it is commonly referred to is often referred to as the “The Party Island”, is the largest and most developed and populated of the Gili Island, has transformed from the once renowned backpacker paradise offering a wide selection of accommodation from backpacker to chic resorts, villas and boutique hotels offering world-class facilities to suit all budgets. The clubs and bars are concentrated on the South/Southeast side of the island whereas on the west and north side it is more peaceful. There is an extensive array of affordable food options from a traditional nightly food market to restaurants and resorts offering everything from local to surprisingly amazing quality and affordable international choices. There are nightly parties featuring live bands, DJs at a wide choice of bars and clubs.
